IT group

The IT team supports science through consultancy and in the development of digital solutions. The scientific projects are closely monitored to ensure scaling: starting from small experimental setups to mass data processing.

The IT group is in charge of the following topics, among others:

• Design, administration and monitoring of the local area network (LAN).
• Centralised data management and data backup
• E-mail, mobile messaging and communication services
• Archiving of e-mail and data
• Audio and video recording
• Computation server (HPC)
• User Support
• Hardware and software procurement
