MaxLab: Hands-on science for (school) pupils and visitors
The MaxLab is the hands-on laboratory of the Max Planck Institute for Biological Intelligence and the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry at the Life Science Campus Martinsried.
The MaxLab provides courses for students and visitors of different ages. A number of other courses, such as a summer science week or courses for younger students supplement the regular courses. In addition, the MaxLab provides class material treating current research topics for teachers to download, as well as virtual school classes.
- The courses are designed for different levels of knowledge and are free of charge.
- Prior registration is required in order to visit.
- MaxLab classes can be booked by teachers and students coming from the vicinity of the institutes, other places in Germany or abroad.
- The language spoken in all courses and of provided materials is German. However, if you would like to initiate a cooperation in English, please get in touch with us.
