Improving a motor skill can often be achieved by incorporating feedback from others. Juvenile zebra finches for instance constantly improve their song during development but the role of external feedback from other individuals is not well understood. My main research focus lies in understanding the feedback dependent changes during song learning in zebra finches. Therefore, I combine behavioral observations and electrophysiological recordings in juvenile zebra finches.
