Main Focus

I am particularly interested in behavioral responses of the individual to its life events. I would like to gain a broader understanding of animal social relationships and adaptive decision making, especially in the context of reproduction. For my Master thesis I am investigating the balance of cooperation and competition between two male morphs of the Ruff. The main focus of my thesis is the attractiveness of the Resident - Satellite co-display for females, and benefits of cooperation for the different ranking males.
