Main Focus

As a biochemist, my passion lies at the intersection of biochemistry, and behavioural and evolutionary ecology. Over the years, my research has primarily been focused on the proteome, encompassing the complete set of proteins expressed by organisms. My primary objective has been to decipher the proteome's role as a molecular foundation for adaptation, evolution, and behaviour. Recently, my focus has expanded to explore parental investment and its interplay with diverse mating strategies and environmental constraints. Utilizing a blend of laboratory work and comparative analyses, my work aims to unveil the intricate connections between molecular processes and the broader ecological context.
