Emerging Scientist Series

Through our Emerging Scientist Series seminars, we invite excellent postdoctoral researchers working in fields related to our work to give a talk at our Institute. Seminars take place at one of our two sites – Martinsried and Seewiesen – and offer opportunities to connect with scientists at the MPI for Biological Intelligence, including faculty, postdocs and PhD students. Travel and accommodation expenses are covered by the Institute.

Please note: We are currently organizing talks from the most recent application round. The next call for applications is expected in autumn 2026, with the application period announced in due course
