  • Development of new optical hardware and applications as well as solutions for image processing and analysis.

Your profile

  • Diploma or Master’s degree in biophysics, physics or biology with a strong focus on microscopy, PhD is an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of principles and methods of microscopy (including fluorescence, confocal and 2-photon microscopy, properties of light sources and detectors).
  • Good skills in handling optics, microscopy hardware and software.
  • High degree of motivation and self-reliance combined with excellent organizational and team-work skills.
  • A strong sense for diligence and accuracy.
  • Fluent in English, German is an advantage.
